Linea Network is one of the most promising Layer-2 solutions. It is a zkEVM layer-two chain launched by Consensys, one of the largest companies in crypto founded by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin. The Consensys team is also behind the creation of the Metamask wallet and Ethereum foundation.
Linea Surge started on May 16. However, this article is being written later as Clip Finance has been busy cooking! May was an incredible month for us, we almost hit our TVL TGE (Token Generation Event) Milestone 1 (97% done), we also worked on and integrated more single token deposits, Mendi Finance leveraged lending pools, and finalized our integration with Nile Dex and Lynex Dex.
What is Linea Surge?
Linea Surge #SurgeOnLinea is an LXP-driven program that enables people to collect LXP-L points in return for having assets on Linea and deploying those assets into protocols. The goal for Linea Surge is to allow users that provide liquidity on the network to collect LXP-L. This program is structured into six “Volts,” each lasting one month.
So the campaign will run (maximum) for six months or until the network TVL reaches $3B. Whichever comes first. There will be a 10% decrease in points emission after Volt 1 so for those hunting for maximum LXP-L points, the sooner you move assets and deploy them on confirmed protocols (Linea team put out a tweet with the approved protocols) the better.
How can you participate in Linea Surge?
You can participate in Linea Surge by depositing your funds on Clip Finance. We have multiple strategies built on top of our partners Mendi and Pancakeswap through which you can earn LXP-L. You can deposit to any of the pools which have “LXP-L” badge in front of it and earn LXP-L. Users earn LXP-L every hour by bridging assets to Linea, holding them on-chain, and by deploying assets into those Liquidity Pools.

Multipliers and Boosts: Since we have joined Linea Surge program, users can earn LXP-L points along with high yields on depositing their crypto assets. We also integrate with other protocols that either boost or provide multipliers for depositing liquidity. In these cases, we pass on such boosts/multipliers to our users who entrust us to do the legwork for them. Higher yields for a fraction of the cost. We have also introduced a single asset ETH strategy which not only yields LXP-L but also gives ether.fi loyalty points and ezPoints with a 2.6x multiplier. We are planning on introducing more such strategies very soon.

Linea Surge Participation Conditions
Your deployed liquidity must be equal to/greater than $24 in a single protocol for points to count to avoid dust.
You can accumulate LXP-L every hour by holding assets on Linea and by deploying assets to designated protocols like Clip Finance.
Make sure you are deploying assets on approved protocols that Linea has confirmed such as Clip Finance!
