How long have you been in crypto & what was your first investment?
2013 — Used bitcoin to pay for gaming items and accounts. Bitcoin miners in 2015 was my first investment.

Full time
What did you do before crypto?
I was working as a commercial real estate broker and real estate advisor.
What’s Blocmates about? You have a podcast and a newsletter — deep dives and market analysis. How can you produce so much content and who are the people behind Blocmates?
We create content in the DeFi space that is easy to understand and to the point. We have a website, podcast and YouTube, newsletter and Discord. We are proud of our community and their resilience in this market. The Blocmates team is me, Grant, Dan and we have writers… Emiri, EzPz and Shaurya.
Any particular chad you’ve interviewed on your pod that really blew your mind like “wow this guy is smart”?
I did not get an interview with him but was in a meeting with Sami from Redacted Cartel.
What’s your current favourite DeFi protocol?
HXRO — yes they are our sponsor at the same time they have a long-term vision around products that are 100% relevant.
Will there be a DeFi for degens in 5 years?
Yes absolutely. We are a subculture, we will not just cease to exist.
