Hey ser! Let’s get right into it. Full-time or part-time?

Your substack has some interesting articles and especially one that I read was titled “DeFi is bleeding cash” — why do you think DeFi protocols aren’t making money and when will that change? Do you see this as a fundamental error or simply a flawed approach to building protocols (i.e. living off token emissions instead of building real businesses)?
Several DeFi protocols are paying people with token emissions to attract users. This is not sustainable because a protocol cannot pay more than it earns and stay in business for long. There needs to be more sustainable revenue streams that are not just coming from money printed out of thin air…… The money has to come from somewhere.
Do you have a core thesis or narrative for DeFI and NFT/Gamifi for 2023?
I believe there will be a couple trends:
- Sustainable yields In bear markets, investors flock to the blue chip stocks that have sustainable dividends and I believe will be the same as well for the crypto markets
- Infrastructure protocols, This could be IRL as well as in the crypto space. An example would be DPX as an infrastructure play for the options and derivative space. Rune, for the DEX space facilitating the trades between native assets.
- AI tokens, Just like the .com bubble. I believe there will be a short term trend with AI tokens. Im not very bullish on them long term, but I believe the AI token space will get frothy with the rise of chatGPT.
What is a wolf game that you’ve been tweeting about and why?
The complexity of the game that has been developed just goes to show the talent of the developers, that is a team I want to get behind. They have also created a strategy game that was able to bring a killer community together. If you go into the discord, it is poppin, the members are extremely active chatting about strategy or what are the best moves to make in the game. That is a community I want to be apart of, the community is key for every project.
It’s 2050. Did we succeed in building a better and more fair financial system?
The book of revelations paints a dystopian future where in order to buy, sell, eat, etc., one will have to have the mark of the least. So based on that, no.
You can’t sell for next 5 years, and can only hold one: ETH, BTC or USD?

What do you think is missing from crypto at the moment?
We need more protocols working to bring derivatives to the masses, and ones that are bridging NFT’s with DEFI. Right now the defi and NFT space is basically isolated from each other and merging these 2 can have a huge impact.
Besides Ethereum, which ecosystem do you see thriving in the future?
Ethereum has one of the strongest communities in the space. looking for the ones that have a community that isn’t just in it for the money, but a community that is there to make a difference and achieve a common goal.
Most underrated protocol in terms of impact on the whole DeFi space?
Hard to say but perhaps Dopex or Thorchain
