Community Update: August Recap & What’s Ahead
As we wrap up August and look forward to the exciting developments on the horizon, we want to share the progress we’ve made across the board — from product milestones to marketing updates and the successful launch of $CLIP token. Let’s dive in!
Tech Updates
Landing Page Upgrade
We’ve introduced additional information to the main page by adding the TVL progress bar. This upgrade improves both functionality and user awareness, reflecting our ongoing commitment to keeping you informed about the platform’s TVL growth and token emission milestones.
Strategy Page UX Improvements
We’ve resolved several issues on the strategy page and its associated tables, ensuring more reliable user experience. Looking ahead, we’re planning a complete redesign of this page, including a new sorting option by APY and TVL to help you easily identify the best strategies.
Wagmi Library Update
We’ve successfully migrated the Wagmi library from v1 to v2, resulting in a substantial improvement in wallet connectivity, particularly for mobile users. This upgrade optimizes the underlying architecture, resolving many connection issues on mobile devices and enabling fast and reliable connections across all platforms.
Clip Token Page
We’ve introduced a dedicated $CLIP token page where you can claim and stake your tokens with ease. This new feature is part of our broader strategy streamlining your interactions with Clip Finance, and bringing utility to protocol’s token.
Product R&D Update
At Clip Finance, we see Intent technology as the driving force behind the future of blockchain adoption and improved user experience. We are confident that this technology will be the catalyst for our next growth phase as well. But what are these “Intents” and why are they so crucial? In essence, Intents are Requests-for-Action (RFA) within a blockchain or dApp. Instead of focusing on the intricate steps needed to complete a transaction, Intents center around the user’s desired outcome.
This approach simplifies interactions and allows users to express their goals, while solvers — key players in intent-based protocols — handle the execution details. They compete to fulfill user requests efficiently, ensuring that transactions are executed in the best possible way. The challenge lies in the fact that the number of available solvers can significantly impact latency and decentralization.
Clip Finance is addressing this by developing its own solver pools. These pools will enable competitive cross-chain transaction fulfillment, ensuring a more decentralized and efficient process. By creating our own solver infrastructure, we aim to foster a competitive environment that improves execution quality and broadens participation.

What This Means for Users
Simplified Staking: Users will be able to stake ETH in single-asset liquidity pools, while Clip manages the complex routing of liquidity to solvers. This means your assets are actively working to generate returns without the need for complex setups on your part.
Lucrative Rewards: Possibility of the double-digit APR on your ETH stakes. Fees from solving intents are distributed to users.
Liquid Staking Benefits: Your tokenized staked ETH can be utilized across various DeFi protocols, further enhancing your opportunities for returns.
We have also partnered with top industry protocols such as Across and Router to support our infrastructure development.
TGE (Token Generation Event) Recap

What’s Next?
As we move into September, we’re focused on continuing the momentum:
Landing Page Facelift and CLIP Widget Development: We’ll be rolling out more updates, all aimed at enhancing the intent-driven user experience.
CLIP Widget is a tool designed to streamline cross-chain interactions. As a set of prebuilt UI components it can seamlessly integrate into web applications. It will support multiple chains, bridges, and exchanges, allowing users to coordinate capital across various networks without the need to manually bridge or switch networks. This will be a tool to help us drive multi-chain strategies and attract users from different chains.
DAO Forum: We’re gearing up for the launch of the first community vote — your voice matters, and we can’t wait to hear it!
That’s a wrap for the August update! We are pleased with the progress we’ve made and excited about the road ahead! As always, thank you for being a part of the Clip Finance community. Stay tuned for more updates and keep yielding the most of your Clip experience!
